The ENSP's efforts to curtail the invasion of tall-growing, aggressive
vegetation in bog turtle habitats have so far been very successful.
With adequate resources and cooperation from other conservation organizations
and private landowners, the ENSP is confident that we can stem habitat
loss at some of our best sites and maintain healthy populations of the
diminutive bog turtle as part of New Jersey's natural heritage.
