Fish for Private Ponds

Anyone wishing to stock fish in a publicly or privately owned pond, stream, or lake should contact the Lebanon Field Office for technical advice and a list of commercial hatcheries where fish can be purchased. The stocking of fish in a body of water having eiher an inlet or outlet requires a permit from Fish and Wildlife. The office can be contacted at 908-236-2118 or by mail to P.O. Box 394, Lebanon, NJ 08833 or via email at njfwfish@earthlink.net.
