Youth Pheasant Hunt Registration Page

Registration for the Youth Pheasant Hunt Participants and Mentor/Dog Handlers has closed.

The Take a Kid Hunting Program's Youth Pheasant Hunt allows young hunters with a valid Youth License to hunt on one of ten (10) stocked Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) (and privately stocked preserves and clubs) prior to the regular opening of the small game season.

In 2017, guided hunts with volunteer hunting mentors with trained bird dogs were available on eight (8) WMAs to registered youths on Saturday, November 4. Detailed information is found on page 25 of the 2017-18 Hunting and Trapping Digest.

Registration for the guided hunts was accepted through Monday, October 16, 2017 ONLY.
